It All Began With an Idea

Quite a recent startup, the Perkiomen Outdoor Rental Company is the brainchild of three of the Perkiomen Valley’s greatest minds, Ethan Markwalter, Ethan Trzaska, and Adam Dockery. One afternoon, after feeling unsatisfied with the lack of recreational opportunity surrounding such a beautiful environment, the trio struck up the nerve to do something about it.

While making sure to maintain a diligent conservation mentality, the business started to take shape with the consumer in mind. The goal was to create a fun, engaging place that every Montgomery County resident could afford. After an agreement with the local municipality was finalized, the Company was legally allowed to rent outdoor equipment to all park-goers. The rest is history!

Meet the Team

Ethan Markwalter

After receiving his Bachelor of Accounting from Harvard University, Ethan Markwalter went on to acquire an MBA. Having 10 years of experience in the business world, he truly is a master. Drawn back to his hometown, he decided to come back to the Perkiomen Valley to make an impact on his community. For 3 years now, Ethan has been a dedicated public servant to the environment around him.

Team

Ethan Trzaska

Initially a high school dropout, Ethan Trzaska bounced around from job to job just looking to get by. In his early adulthood, however, Ethan realized that he wanted to finish high school. He then went on to enroll at the University of Oxford to earn a degree in finance. He went back to school a few years later to earn degrees in both human resources and accounting. Recently, Ethan and his two cats have developed a knack for fishing, a passion his company helps facilitate.

Adam Dockery

Initially, Adam Dockery graduated from the University of Idaho with a bachelor’s in agriculture and a concentration in potato farming. After a few years of farming, Adam was exploited by other large farms in the area. He knocked on the door of the dean of Harvard’s Law School looking for help. Here he would eventually get his DJS and meet Ethan Markwalter. Now, he is the company’s legal council and is focused on maintaining ethical business practices.
