SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

PITCH DECK

An entry includes a pitch deck that explains your proposed application of the NASA tech:

  • Mission: Explain the purpose and impact of your team’s product. What need is it aiming to solve? What motivated this idea? What are your long-term goals?

  • Product: Explain how your company and product will utilize NASA’s technology, and how this license will support your company in its goal. Outline the benefits to consumers and what communities will benefit from this partnership. Identify key features and unique aspects to your product. Provide appropriate research and data to support your business idea.

  • Team: Introduce your team and the specific skill sets each person brings to the table. How will this team work together to ensure a successful rollout of the product?

  • Execution Plan: Provide a short summary business plan laying out the proposed
    development strategy. What are the key next steps, activities/priorities, milestones, resources required, and timelines required to develop this proposition? What is the end goal of the company (e.g. sell to customers, get acquired, other)?

PRESENTATION

WUAC will be hosting a panel of judges composed of NASA technology professionals, aerospace executives, and venture capitalists to score submissions on a 1 to 5 scale using the following criteria:

  • Market Analysis

  • Competitive Advantage

  • Technology Use

  • Available Resources

  • Execution Plan
