The aerospace equity coverage division of WUAC that seeks to analyze and identify investable opportunities. We teach the principles of value investing, business analysis, and industry analysis. We invite all first-years and sophomores to apply, regardless of previous experience levels. Our primary goal is to provide students with educational exposure to the growing industries that are Aviation, Space, and Defense.

The Investment Team meets weekly, and provides multiple opportunities for students to get involved and learn more about A&D investing, including:

1. Learning investing fundamentals, finance and accounting knowledge, and business analysis techniques

2. Researching potential investment ideas and become an expert in your sector

3. Pitching and discussing different investment theses in club meetings and in stock competitions

INVESTMENT TEAM

Education

Learn the fundamentals of financial analysis and apply them to public aerospace companies throughout the semester. New members participate in an educational onboarding program directed by the equity research group PMs.

Insight

Each coverage research team member will select a (public) Aerospace company in one of three major A&D sectors to cover over the course of a semester. Projects will culminate with an end of semester stock pitch competition.

Social

WUAC is built on a strong community of like-minded individuals. Join us at social events to get to know your team and make friends that extend beyond WUAC!

Aerospace Portfolio

We construct a mock portfolio based on our analysts' investment pitches to give our team real-world feedback by benchmarking our returns against US equity indices (ex. S&P 500). From January 2021 to December 2021, our holdings were:
